Your First Session
We start with a free 15-minute consultation (with both partners) to discuss what you’re looking for and whether we’re the right fit. In your first full session, we’ll hear both perspectives. What’s working? What’s not? What do you want your relationship to look like? We create a safe space where both partners feel heard.
Ongoing Sessions
Most couples meet weekly or biweekly for 50-minute sessions. Some prefer in-person sessions at our Westboro office; others choose virtual therapy for convenience. We’re not here to take sides. We help you see patterns you might be stuck in, teach you how to communicate in ways that actually land, and give you tools to navigate conflict without destroying each other in the process.
Personalized care, built around you. At Therapy with Empathy, our team provides specialized support across relationships, anxiety, trauma, parenting, and ADHD—so you can find a therapist who truly fits your needs.
We focus on targeted, not one-size-fits-all care. All therapists offer bilingual services (English and French), with in-person sessions in Westboro and virtual appointments across Ontario.

Yes. Individual therapy can help you understand your relationship patterns, set boundaries, and decide what you need. Sometimes one partner starting therapy motivates the other to join later.
Couples therapy can help you make an informed decision about your relationship’s future. Some couples use therapy to separate more consciously and respectfully, especially when children are involved.
Not all therapists are the right fit. Our diverse team means you can find someone who understands your specific challenges – whether that’s cultural differences, neurodivergence, trauma history, or family dynamics.
Book your free 15-minute consultation to discuss your relationship goals and find the right therapist for your needs. We’re currently accepting new couples with 1-2 week availability.
